John Vidacovich Releases New Solo CD
(March 2002)

Astral Project drummer John Vidacovich is proud to announce the release of his third solo recording, simply titled "Vidacovich."

The disc was produced by Michael Pellera (who also co-produced Astral Project's new "Big Shot") and Jeff Meyer. Pellera contributes keyboard work to "Vidacovich," while Meyer plays percussion on several cuts.

"Vidacovich" also features the funky tuba playing of Matt Perrine and the searing guitar of Neville Brothers sideman Shane Theriot.

Besides his explosive drum work, John Vidacovich also sings and recites poetry on several tunes.

"Vidacovich" follows the highly acclaimed "Banks Street" (1996) and "Mystery Street" (1995).
